Caio is a partner at PGLaw, where he has a multidisciplinary practice in areas related to financial markets, capital markets and regulation.

His expertise includes: complex mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; general advice on corporate law; corporate reorganizations; negotiation and analysis of business contracts; structuring and negotiation of national and international loans and financing; capital market operations, capital market litigation; banking and capital market regulation; corporate governance; foreign investment; and administrative procedures before the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the Central Bank of Brazil and the Appeals Council of the National Financial System.

In addition, his experience also includes the development of legal assistance projects for international organizations in matters of regulation of infrastructure sectors, as well as the legal structuring of large-scale real estate transactions.

Caio also worked at leading corporate law firms in Brazil before joining PGLaw. Currently, in addition to being a partner at PGLaw, he is also one of the founder and coordinator of the Center for Asian Legal Studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (CELA-FDUSP).
