Bruna Magalhães Gärner is an associate attorney at PGLaw, where she acts in commercial law, advising companies in matters of women rights, ethics and anti discrimination tools, searching for means to prevent harassment, as well as implementing initiatives to empower women and to instruct directors, employees and third parties in regards of gender issues.
Bruna also develops PGLaw’s litigation sector, working with corporate disputes related to intellectual property, franchising and ethics, as well as civil disputes, mostly in family matters and succession. Since 2017 she is also president of PGLaw’s Ethics and Diversity Committee.
Her expertise includes: assistance on corporate ethics and women rights, focusing on commercial, civil and family areas; gender and corporate governance; procedural law and strategic litigation services.
Previously, Bruna was part of the academic Research Group “Law and Poverty”, in University of São Paulo Law School, which aims to analyze aspects related to the structures of the enormous social and economic inequality of Brazilian society, thru politics, law and economics perspectives, searching for solutions and the rule of law.
